Never-before-published images and firsthand accounts from US service members, contractors and military families paint a far grimmer picture of Iranian strikes on American bases than Washington has publicly acknowledged, MeidasTouch Network reported.
Photos reportedly show bombed barracks, damaged dormitories and aircraft burning at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Sources said an E-3 Sentry AWACS was damaged in one attack that injured 10–12 personnel, alongside two KC-135 tankers. MeidasTouch noted that some reported losses could not be independently verified.
At Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, personnel described months of incoming fire. Sources said Iranian strikes damaged F-15s, F-35s, MQ-9 Reapers and helicopters, while one July attack on barracks killed three service members.
💬 “We are sitting ducks,” one service member said. Another described the deployment simply: “This is not a normal deployment.”
In the UAE, troops said they received no warning that hostilities were about to begin and some had to dig their own foxholes. In Bahrain, military families said evacuation plans existed but were not activated before the airport was struck, leaving some to escape at their own expense.
💬 “We were used as pawns in the war,” one military spouse said. Another American described feeling “completely abandoned by my own government.”
